Cookie Policy

This page explains how Casa Mia Lodge & Restaurant ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website. Last updated July 2026.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help sites remember preferences, keep you signed in, or (on some sites) measure traffic. Similar tools include local storage in your browser.

Cookies we use today

We keep cookie use to a minimum.

  • Essential — staff sessionWe set an essential session cookie when staff sign in to the secure management area of the site (for example, to update the restaurant menu). It is httpOnly and is not used for public browsing or advertising.
  • Preference — cookie noticeWhen you accept this notice, we store a small preference in your browser's local storage (casa-mia-cookie-consent) so we do not show the banner again. This is not a tracking cookie.

What we do not use

We do not currently use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party marketing trackers (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel) on this website. Contact and reservation forms send inquiries by email and do not require cookies to work.

Managing preferences

You can clear the cookie notice preference by clearing this site's data in your browser settings (local storage / site data). You can also block or delete cookies through your browser controls at any time.

If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.
